Hey guys,
Sorry for the lack of updates over the last 2 days. Our camera has broke so we havent been able to create any montages!
Pat has nailed 3 tracks today on vocals, and trust us when we say they have really brought the tracks to life. It's gonna take a bit longer to mix and get these tracks altogether sorted so hang fire and we'll have them up as soon as possible!
We've had some epic nights in our accomodation - the highlight being last nights epic run of movies;
Last Action Hero then
Robocop then
Terminator 2.
YES.
Tomorrow we have an early start, we're gonna visit the Village Tea Room in Wooten Bassett. Yes. We sound like toffs, but its amazing. Full english breakfasts, proper coffees all sorts. Gonna have a long day tomorrow, nailing all the remaining vocal sections and packing the gear back to drive back home to Prrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeston.
See you all soon and keep your eyes on the myspace!

DAY SIX
DAY 6:
We are coming towards the end of our time at Studio 6, but the tracks are sounding heavier than sin.
Oll, Dave and Andi are down at the studio tracking the final bits of lead guitar and then finally the bass tracks. We are starting vocals tomorrow and heading back home monday. Its been a long and hard week for us all, with the weather cutting us off from civilisation, but its been awesome at the same time. We've had a complete Arnie fest (as you can see from the video blogs).
Good times.
More updates to come.
peace.

DAY 3! Video update!
Yesterday we got drums pretty much finished minus a few more tweaks along the way.
We sorted a guitar tone for the record out, and it kills! When you guys hear this shit properly, your ears are going to feel like theyve done 10 rounds with lexington steel.
anyway, stop reading, press play and bang your head.

Day two, part 1!
Ok, so cabin fever is all todays about!
Ells down in the studio going over his drum tracks he got down yesterday, making sure everything is as it should be, and working on the sound of his kit for the CD too.
Me and Dave are hauled up, looking at deer and snow from the windows of the cottage, watching dvds and trying to keep boredom at bay!
Tommorrow we start guitars and the other dudes should be down to join in on the fun and frolics!
For any guitar geeks out there, we should be tracking through Oll's mesa dual rectifier head, and through a matching mesa rectifier 4x12.
Pedal wise, we both run a fairly similiar setup, just running Boss NS2 noise suppressors to get rid of any unwanted noise and feedback from the head. We both run Boss TU2's and have dropped our tuning from the last record to Drop B to get some real filth going on. Oll uses a Boss DD3 for any of the delay parts on the tracks, and finally we used a Maxon OD808 to really tighten up and push the gain on the head.
Anyone playing any high gain metal/hardcore songs, i seriously recommend these pedals, without it, it makes a nearly 2k amp head sound shitty in comparison.
We will post up some more videos soon, but on these quieter days, theres not a whole lot to film, other than Oll drinking lots of coffee and looking at razzle or dave making a jack n coke and watching arrested development.
Not exactly award winning tv!

Day one, part one!
Morning!
So we got here late last night, unpacked some gear into the cottage we are staying at for the week! Its on a dairy farm, and we were told to watch out for deer coming by the fences in the morning.
Its insane.
We woke up this morning to snow everywhere, (even in my racoon wounds) which was pretty sweet.
We are loaded up with coffee and toast and now are off to find somewhere for fuel and are due at the studio around 10:30 for the first of whats going be some seriously long days!
Hopefully, if we dont suck, we will have some stuff to post later!
